Project based learning
With 15 years of practice in a public school science classroom behind him, Bill Church will lead a discussion of project based learning. He will also talk about multi-age learning networks — HS students mentoring k-8 teachers via the STOMP program, White Mountain Science, Inc, a nonprofit that sits on the boundary between formal and informal education setting, and community based science and engineering projects — when HS students become a town’s go-to think-tank!
