Cardboard Robots (DrawBots)

An introduction to mechatronics (Robotics) doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. With a simple circuit, some cardboard and hot glue participants will build a simple robot artist. This project is a great make and take for libraries and classrooms alike with the materials ending up at less than 5$ per person. The lessons learned from this simple project can stand alone or be part of a much larger progression of electronics education with an option later on to add an Arduino micro-controller to create a smarter more controllable artist.
